Time

Not a lot has been happening here. Mostly just waiting for spring to arrive. With the snow melting we now have a lake in front of the house..Have been haveing lots of sunny days an about half of our snow is gone.. I am counting the days until i leave for Las Vegas.. There are so many shows to see an of course i will be going to the choclate factory an i am sure i will be bringing treats home..Still working on talking Larry in to taking a hot air ballon ride , he isnt buying into it very well..Other then that life is nice an peaceful here..Hope all is well with family an friends..Love an miss you all

Lots of colored babys being born right now.Not sure why . But sure love the colored babys.

Another week

Not much new an exciting happening here. Between the wind .snow an cold weather monday
Larry an I were so lucky we got to do farm chores an wean 800 baby piglets on our own.Made
for a long 19 hour day . But we survived. Was amazed to find out that there are employees here
that think they should still get paid for days off that are weather related. But they found out fast an quick I was NOT going to approve or go ask the owners to pay them. If they wanted to get paid they should of road snowmobiles to work . They also found out with one day off they can not even get unemployment for that day either. Save for a rainy day...is what they need to learn.

Global Warming

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..who ever came up with global warming has not lived in Iowa. We are back at -35 below with the wind chill again.. I would hate to see how cold it would be if we didnt have global warming.. MOTHER NATURE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AN GIVE ME SPRING!!

Freezeing cold

Today is a great day in Iowa even if we got a dusting of snow.. My little grandson called me to talk. His mom still hasnt taught him to say grandma but he will learn soon I hope. Samantha I got a lot of new little colored baby piglets today. Was a very busy day , could of used your help.
Hopefully this summer your mom will let you come an stay with me again love haveing you here to visit an do things with .. Love an miss you all...
